Camber Roller for Mark II Honing Guide

On smoothing planes, it’s desirable to hone a slight curve into the edge of the blade to eliminate blade tracks in the piece of wood being planed. The Veritas® Camber Roller Assembly has a barrel shaped roller that permits a limited rocking of the blade while still maintaining an accurate consistent bevel. Simply replace the roller on the Mk. II Honing Guide with the camber roller; that’s it! Setup is still done using the Mk. II’s registration jig, plus the camber roller includes a standard eccentric system for honing micro bevels.
