Candle Dish Turning Kit

Use this WoodRiver® Pillar Candle Dish Turning Kit to create the perfect accent for the home or a special occasion. Turn a free-form base to house the 3"-diameter candle dish and spike. The dish is designed to hold a 2"-diameter pillar candle while protecting the table surface from wax damage.

To create your own custom pillar candle dish turning, we recommend using a minimum size 3" x 3" x 6" turning blank of your choice (sold separately). Mark centers on each end. On one end, bore a 1/4"-diameter x 1-1/4"-deep hole. Mount blank between centers or combination of a 4-jaw lathe chuck and live center. Turn your desired profile, sand and apply a finish of your choice. Thread the spike up through the dish, exposing approximately 9/16" of spike and thread. Five-minute epoxy is recommended to attach the threaded portion of threaded post into the turned base.
